This walking tour starts from Piazza del Plebiscito and ends in the historic center of Naples. We cross two central areas of the city, the monumental one with important buildings, such as the Royal Palace, the Maschio Angioino and the Umberto I Gallery, and the one teeming with life and local crafts, which is Spaccanapoli (the road that splits the ancient heart of old Neapolis). The two urban centers are connected by via Toledo, a large thoroughfare built in the first half of the 16th century by the viceroy Don Pedro de Toledo. We walk along a part of it entering some alleys of the Spanish Quarters to end our tour in via San Gregorio Armeno, also known as the "street of the presepi", in the San Lorenzo district, full of ancient churches and Roman remains.

Il giro a piedi inizia con la visita esterna del Maschio Angioino e del Teatro San Carlo, l’interno della Galleria Umberto I, Piazza del Plebiscito, la Basilica di San Francesco di Paola, via Chiaia dov’è nata la pizza Margherita, i Quartieri Spagnoli, via Toledo, Spaccanapoli., fino ad arrivare a via San Gregorio Armeno.
