ROSANNA PALMIERI

I was born and raised in Naples (1976), in the heart of the Mediterranean, between volcanoes and art treasures and here I decided to stay, because I feel part of the millennial history of my city.

I am an art historian and I have been working as a licensed tour guide of the Campania region since 2004.

I like traditional music and dancing, books that surprise me with an unexpected ending, dinners with friends accompanied by a good glass of red wine. I am a faithful disciple of the Neapolitan coffee ritual, which must be drunk strictly bitter and boiling.

I can't wait to meet you here, in Naples, a chaotic city full of contrasts, but also cheerful, authentic and generous, to show you unseen places and glimpses of my land and its gulf dominated by the Vesuvius, which has always been a crossroads of peoples, languages and cultures.
My motto: You only learn by having fun! (A. France)

After graduating in Conservation of Cultural Heritage at University of Naples "Suor Orsola Benincasa" in 2002, I attended the postgraduate course of Higher Education in Art History at the Italian Institute for Philosophical Studies in Naples. Finally, I graduated from the Postgraduate School of Specialization in History of Medieval and Modern Art of the "La Sapienza" University of Rome.

In addition to the tourist guide activity, which I have been carrying out regularly since 2014, I have collaborated with the Ministry of Cultural Heritage in research projects, cataloging and publication of works of art and, as a teacher, I have collaborated with various local institutions to the promotion and enhancement of cultural heritage in the Neapolitan area.

Giusy Di Tuccio

My motto: smile and life will smile back at you!

WHAT THEY SAY ABOUT US
