INFO

Paestum is one of the most important archaeological centers in Italy. It is the favorite destination for all those who love classical art. Built at the end of the seventh century B.C. by Greek colonists, it offers the exciting spectacle of its ancient temples of golden stone that change color according to the light of the different hours of the day. Our tour crosses the entire archaeological area, visiting buildings from the Greek era and those from the Roman era. In the adjacent museum the famous tomb of the diver is exhibited, with frescoes dated to 480-470 BC that reveals how the ancients believed in the transition from life to the afterlife.

The tour begins by visiting the archaeological area which includes the Greek temples called "Ceres", "Neptune" and "Basilica", the forum, the amphitheater, public buildings and the remains of Roman houses.
