A land of history and myths, where the power of nature is revealed in a verdant landscape between sea and volcanoes, thermal waters and sulphates, the Campi Flegrei (from the Greek flègo, meaning "burn") include that area north-west of Naples chosen first by the Greeks to found Cuma, the oldest Greek colony in the West, and then by the Romans as a place to stay for aristocrats and emperors.

ITINERARY

Per la complessità e vastità del territorio dei Campi Flegrei, i tour vanno personalizzati in base alle proprie richieste insieme alla guida. Si possono visitare la città di Pozzuoli (con i resti romani del Rione Terra, l’anfiteatro Flavio, il macellum conosciuto come “tempio di Serapide”), i laghi vulcanici, la Piscina MIrabilis, i resti archeologici della città di Baia, oggi in parte sommersa, l’acropoli di Cuma o il Museo Archeologico dei Campi Flegrei, ospitato nel castello aragonese costruito alla fine del XV secolo.
